First text book published under ENEN label

EUROTRANS Internal Training Course 7 "Impact of new nuclear data on the design of transmutation experiments", in Strasbourg, France, 10-13 September 2008 Postponed till 15-18 December 2008
This course is designed for PhD students and Postdocs primarily for those involved in the IP EUROTRANS and parent projects. The number of participants is limited to about 20 participants. An active participation of the PhD students and Postdocs is required. Therefore, when applying, the participants should submit a short abstract (15 to 20 lines) of a presentation related to their work. A small grant, distributed by the organizer, will help the students whose presentation has been selected by the organizer, to finance their accommodation expenditures. At the end of the course, an examination will be organised for the students requiring credit points for their participation to the course.
The ISaR courses in the 2008/2009 program focus on four subject areas schemed in three time schedule blocks:
1. Technology (8-26 September 2008) including 5 courses: The deadline for the registration has been postponed to three days before beginning of each course.
4. Nuclear Safety, Regulation and Law (20-31 July 2009, details to be announced)
It is planned to offer all courses given in Munich as ENEN courses (20% reduction fee for participants from ENEN members, possibility to get a number of grants for students from ENEN universities). Examinations are also expected at the end of all courses not only for the trainees, but for students interested in ECTS from these courses.
