1st pan-European Recruitment Event held in Brussels, 4-5 December 2009

"AtomiCareers in Europe", the first and most exclusive pan-European Recruitment Event in the nuclear field for graduates and early-career professionals, took place in Brussels on 4-5 December 2009 with the official support of the ENEN Association and the major nuclear industries in Europe.
237 students and young professionals, who are interested in working in the nuclear field, were selected and invited to the Event among 800 applicants over Europe. Following the Welcome speeches by Stéphane Wajskop, Managing Director, Careers in Europe, and Sylvestre Viré, General Manager, Westinghouse Electic Company, Belgium, 9 Workshops were organised by the participating companies on 4th December. As a parallel session, a Panel discussion between recruiters, professonal associations and professors held by Georges Van Goethem, European Commission, as the moderator.
A series of prescheduled interviews and spontaneous contacts between the students and young professionals and the recruiters were organised on 5th December.
AtomiCareers 2010 is expected to be held in Brussels, 3-4 December 2010. Further information will be posted in due course.
