Atomexpo 2010 in Moscow, Russian Federation, 7-9 June 2010

Following the successful "Atomexpo 2009" in 26-28 May 2009, the 2nd International Forum "Atomexpo 2010" took place in Moscow, Russian Federation, 7-9 June 2010 organised by the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation "ROSATOM".
The ENEN Association was invited as a speaker during the Round-table session "Human Capital in Nuclear: Challenges and Solutions" on 7 June 2010 in the morning. The contents and expectations of a new FP7 project "ENEN-RU" was introduced. The ENEN-RU project, coordinated by the ENEN Association, aims to define a common basis to allow effective cooperation between the European and Russian networks for nuclear Education and Training. It is expected to be launched soon.
On June 8 the ROSATOM and the CEA, France, signed a new Cooperation Agreement, replacing the two previous agreements of 1993 and 2000, including joint research activities and exchange of experts. See the ROSATOM website for further details.
