Program details
The goal of this master program is to enable graduates to address and coordinate all process phases from generation through handling to underground disposal of radioactive and chemotoxic waste in a scientific and practice-orientated way.
Disposal of radioactive and hazardous waste needs both a broad-based and detailed engineering and science based education. Emphasis of the master program is on use possibilities of deep geological formations for secure final disposal of radioactive and chemotoxic waste and the consideration of geological, hydrogeological and chemical processes in safety analyses.

Requirements to apply :
Bachelor degree in geoenvironmental engineering at TU-Clausthal (consecutive)
Bachelor degree with science or engineering orientation (e.g. geology, mining, civil engineering, physics, chemistry or the like). Because both science and engineering knowledge is required, bachelor students might have to gain additional knowledge in one or another field. For this reason the complementary modules where developed.
Tuition fee :
500 € per term (semester)
